The various abuses of the word, 'equality' by the cult of Desteni are in order to make the group appear socially or politically relevant. In studies of cults it's what's known as loading the language, designed to deceive the public and control potential or actual cult members. 

The Desteni organisation is not a collective or co-operative that runs according to principles of equality. It is a small capitalist business that offers a multi-level marketing scheme. The customers don't just purchase or consume Desteni products. They work for no pay by marketing products on a daily basis. 'Destonians' do not own or manage resources of the organisation. They do not define its ideas, methods, practices or policies. Bernard Poolman decides on everything, along with Sunette Spies and the Desteni elite inner circle, all of whom are under the authoritarian dictatorship of Poolman. Rank and file Destonians just obey, copy and repeat.

Self-forgiveness = social engineering

'Self-forgiveness' is as Bernard Poolman suggests in his YouTube and Twitter account descriptions, a type of social engineering. One of the prime websites on the subject, social-engineer.org defines social engineering as:

the act of manipulating a person to accomplish goals that may or may not be in the “target’s” best interest. This may include obtaining information, gaining access, or getting the target to take certain action.  

Self-forgiveness as it is used within the context of Desteni is a cliché of religion: that being, you are inherently evil and must confess your sins to the church to redeem yourself, save the world and get to heaven.  

The Destonians confess personal concerns or problems in public on the Internet and privately via Skype, email etc to their assigned 'buddies' in the pseudo-religion, the church of Desteni. They make promotional blogs and videos, join the Desteni Income Process and become salespersons for the Desteni business.

With the so-called 'tools' of self-forgiveness and 'self-correction' Destonians' thoughts and behaviour are recorded. They are targeted, monitored and instructed by the more dominant higher ups in the Desteni hierarchy. 'Self-forgiveness' allows Desteni to keep tabs on Destonians, find out what makes them tick and oversee their indoctrination in detail. The real tools of Desteni are the Destonians. 

Equality entails diversity and inclusion but Destonians say diversity is a problem. They admit they are opposed to freedom of expression. They ban any outsider who dares to debate, criticise or question their ideas, which are that Bernard Poolman and Sunette Spies know the ultimate truth about everything.  

Desteni do not concern themselves with civil rights issues and take no stand against racism. There is not one black South African in the group. They have nothing to say at all on equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgendered people. Destonians' few remarks on equality of women contain less insight into sexism or feminism than an issue of 'Cosmopolitan' magazine.

Desteni show no support for disadvantaged social or ethnic groups, cultures or nations. In several statements made in texts and videos such as 'The Jew in Every Man is a Zionist' Mr Poolman has clearly shown himself to be anti-Jewish. He promotes the forgiveness of Adolf Hitler.

Destonians advocate a revival of the discredited eugenics movement. They see eugenics as 'Best for All'. Citing Hitler's 'Mein Kampf' as a reliable source, Destonian Marlen Vargas Del Razo calls for the sterilization of disabled people and 'certain races'.

Desteni run a farm, an online multi-level marketing scheme and a business selling over-priced software (Techno Tutor), but they are not involved in activities which have any practical or useful meaning in terms of equality, politics or society.

Destonians propose a future authoritarian technocracy, an over-arching, all-encompassing 'system' which is somehow to be 'implemented' by people 'joining Desteni' for 'equal money'. They do not practice alternative forms of ownership, production or finance but merely complain about social conditions or conventions and repeat catch phrases about their abstract, non-existent 'system' on the Internet.

In political terms, Desteni is a communo-fascist, totalitarian, sectarian organisation. Yet it does not present any challenge to the neoliberal corporate status quo. Destonians are statists. They recommend conforming to 'the system' in order to make money to give to Desteni in the vain hope that one day they will 'become the system' and the one world state power.

Destonians have almost nothing to say about the work of the many organisations or individuals around the world that actively support and work towards social and political equality. Although they claim to support the Basic Income no Destonian is involved in the real Basic Income campaign. They are opposed to both the Occupy Movement and Anonymous. 

Their 'equal money system' (EMS) is web-based media: subliterate texts and inarticulate YouTube videos. These serve as cheap adverts for Desteni 'Best for All' products and merchandise, and online courses in 'self-mastery'.

EMS is a scam designed to make it look like Desteni is running a social justice or political campaign for human rights when it is a private commercial business and has no involvement in equal rights, social justice or politics whatsoever.

Videos such as Constitutional Equality and Voting in and Equal Money System - Economist JTL or Politics in an Equal Money System – Introduction are made up of nonsensical statements and statements of the obvious; meaningless or sentimental sloganeering. They display complete ignorance of issues of equality, and a woefully misguided, warped idealism that bears no relation to the real world.

The Equal Money Wiki is comprised of crude descriptions of a fantasy about an ultra-efficient authoritarian world 'system' run according to Desteni dogma. It is full of wishy-washy platitudes and meaningless abstractions such as: 

Within an Equal Money System, the point of having ‘equal money’ is to assist with the psychological harmonization of the human into a harmonious character that no longer lives in fear of his own survival, but lives as Life, gives as Life and receives as Life – equally. ...and... our interaction with nature will change, where we are not just ‘enjoyers’ of nature, where we no longer merely sit back and ‘enjoy the view’ – but where we are active participants – identifying where nature is struggling to maintain itself and step in with rehabilitative programs and projects – and thus, become a part of the flows of give and receive.

The Desteni and Equal Money Newsletters do not provide news about the progress of a political or social justice movement as it impacts upon the wider society. It is made up of a list of links to Destonians' blogs with all the usual 'equal money' promotional slogans and verbiage, plus a few 'Shopping Recommendations'.

The Desteni Farm Visitors blog does not describe a community that operates an actual 'equal money system'. It does not say how they are helping to establish social equality for anyone. It presents testimonials to advertise the sale of working holidays at the Desteni farm in South Africa. The community there apparently exists entirely to serve its own interests, which are in isolation from any other communities and disengaged from practical issues of equality in any local or global political situations.

Desteni members have often said they are opposed to charity yet constantly make appeals to charitable emotion by requesting donations for EMS by stating it is the 'solution' to starvation and poverty. It is all under the heading of the Equal Life Foundation, an organisation registered as a 'non-profit company' but which is purely to make profit for the Desteni business.

After EMS was launched three or more years ago and promoted with hundreds if not thousands of videos, the Equal Money System forum has very few posts per week and almost no threads with any sustained discussion. There are currently only 263 members, very few of whom ever take part. 

There is such little interest in EMS undoubtedly because it is so obviously just an online money-making scam.

'Equal Money System' lures a few naive people in to imagining they can change the world for the better by giving all their money to Desteni while the money only ever goes towards maintaining the Desteni founders' lifestyle.

There is no evidence that any member of Desteni or any Destonian is even attempting to bring about equality.

Desteni and Destonians only make references to 'equality' to seem worthy or important, so that they can market and sell the absurd reptilian channeling New Age occult hocus pocus which is the core part of their business. This is shown in, for example, Sunette Spies' video, 2013 - The Future of Consciousness in which she rambles on in an affected manner about 'demon dimensions', reptilians, 'personality systems', 'mind demons' to try to sell more of the same useless drivel, none of which has the slightest relevance to any issue of equality, and is of no relevance to the matter of consciousness either. 

But as self-confessed leader of 'the best cult ever', Bernard Poolman admits, Desteni is a 'MONEY Cult'. As such it is based around the promotion and sale of Poolman and his followers' lunatic beliefs and opinions.

Poolman actively encourages his 'Destonians' to be suspicious of their friends and family and to regard anyone else not in Desteni as scapegoats for all the 'evil' in the world. In one of his many misanthropic lectures called How Does Self-Forgiveness Work, and How Do I Know When My Self-Forgiveness Is Effective? Poolman states:

Equal money is not there to help the human. The human is in essence really something that cannot be trusted and must be eradicated at all costs.

Needless to say, Desteni can't eradicate the human, and a world of equality with no poverty or starvation and a guaranteed income, food, shelter, clothing and education for all will never come about by making blogs or v-logs or taking holidays on a farm.

Equality is not about forgiving oneself for having thoughts, signing up for online courses in 'self-mastery' or trying to sell macabre recordings of a woman pretending to be 'interviewed' as a reptilian, an owl, a sheep or an inhabitant of the lost continent of Atlantis.

Equality in Desteni is a lie.

New Age Occultism of Desteni Equal Money System

The New Age Ain't What It's Cracked Up To Be

Since 2007, after having published thousands of videos, articles and numerous websites, the Desteni group of Kwa-Zulu Natal, South Africa have persuaded only about 100-150 superstitious New Agers and paranoid conspiracy theorists to take part in their 'process'. After entering the Desteni 'process' these persons replace their previous, more typical New Age or conspiracy theories and beliefs with re-worked versions of the same deceptive theories and beliefs.

Much of the Desteni material is made up of an apparent critique of New Age religion. For example, all their recent responses to a video used to promote the laughable New Age 'channeling' cult of Abraham-Hicks (such as The BIGGEST Missing Piece - Response to Abraham Hicks), where it is clear they are trying to recruit disillusioned Abraham-Hicks and 'Law of Attraction' followers. This is also why they label so many Desteni videos '2012' to appeal to believers in the 2012 hoax.

It seems that Bernard Poolman and the Desteni group are under the impression that New Age religion is the most dominant, all-pervasive influence in society. Therefore it has to be re-assessed and corrected in order for society to change. It is as though they are stuck in a time-loop after reading the likes of Shirley MacLaine's Out On A Limb and imagining that it's all very cutting edge have on reflection come to the conclusion that maybe the New Age scene is not quite what it's all cracked up to be. So to improve matters they re-configure already existing New Age ideas, change the terminology a bit and give some different emphases, like 'equality' instead of 'spirituality', thereby contriving just another New Agey philosophy, albeit mostly subliterate and even more irrational and demented than the original material they try to critique.

Bernard Poolman has invented stories to the effect that due to his efforts 'heaven' has been purified and 'the dimensions' or 'White Light', ascended masters, reincarnation etc no longer exist, as if these things ever did exist other than as fictions and myths of New Age religion.  

According to Desteni, humans were designed by reptilians

Like the fans of New Age conspiracy creator, David Icke, Destonians accept as fact the spurious notion that human beings were designed by Anunnaki reptilians, but they take that one step further into delusion and madness and also believe there are 'mind consciousness systems' of Anunnaki reptilian gods, aliens, dead people, animals and inanimate objects which communicate important messages for all humankind via Sunette Spies of Desteni, whom they see as an interdimensional portal to 'heaven' or 'the dimensions'.

Yet the founder of the morbid Desteni Reptilian Channeling Cult, Bernard Poolman, has stated: Understand that the message from Desteni is not really the message from the portal. The portal is a demonstration of what is possible in the physical. The message is actually from me.  

In The History and Purpose of Channeling, Poolman writes that the masters that were channeling told him all channels were preprogrammed according to the instructions of the White Light and the Annunaki.

The assumed veracity of that statement and almost all of Poolman's statements rests on its theoretical premise as stereotypical, clichéd New Age doctrine posing as objective fact merely on the basis of it being a re-worked version of previous well-worn fantasies and dogma of New Age religion. 


Cross-Referencing Fact & Fiction

Stories about Anunnaki reptilians are also at the Xee-A Twelve website where Amitakh Stanford relays paranoid schizophrenic sci-fi conspiracy theories. Like all New Age conspiracists, Stanford is critical of the New Age scene yet her ideas are derived entirely from mythologies of occultism. Many New Age conspiracists have this contradictory point of view, probably because they have been influenced by right-wing Christian fundamentalist conspiracy theories which label occultism and the New Age movement as 'evil' tools of the nefarious Illuminati secret society.

Around 2008-9, Darryl W. Thomas of Desteni publicly acknowledged and praised the striking similarities between the works of Amitakh Stanford and the Desteni material at the previous, now deleted Desteni forum.

Another version of the fantastical Annunaki theories are part of the Nuwaubian Movement as created by Dr Malachi Z. York AKA Dwight York, author of 'The Holy Tablets', which is jam-packed full of New Age occultism. YouTube channel, ONEMNOOPOOH presents Nuwaubian videos as complementary to Desteni, and another New Age conspiracist Internet phenomenon known as WingMakers.

Again, strong similarities between 'the message' of WingMakers and the Desteni materials were noted by Desteni members some years ago on their previous, now deleted forum as well as at the WingMakers forum. More recently, the issue was raised by a poster asking, WINGMAKERS SAME MESSAGE THAN DESTENI? WingMakers also peddles idiotic fairy tales about Anunnaki reptoids. The strap-line for the WingMakers' Sovereign Integral project is ‘Here in breath... every breath. No mind to refract reality’, which is another cliché of New Age religion and fits exactly the Desteni outlook.

The Desteni process involves key figures in the group represented as having special abilities to access 'the dimensions'. One of Poolman’s closest collaborators, Esteni de Wet, acts as clairvoyant oracle and talks about levers, tentacles, rods, stars, dust or daggers which she claims she can see on or around the bodies of Destonians. She and other 'Desteni I Process' trainers conjure up such imagery to attempt to symbolise the psychological or 'interdimensional' state of some of the rank and file Destonians.

The Desteni material, in particular their 'History of Man' series, has many parallels with L. Ron Hubbard’s sci-fi pseudo-religion of Scientology, in which it is said that 'demons', 'bypass circuits in the mind' or 'engrams' recorded as image pictures of experiences created by 'the reactive mind' can be made 'clear'. The state of 'clear' in Scientology would equate with being 'birthed as equal as one in the physical' in Desteni. Although touted as a religion or 'science of the mind', it is well-known that the pernicious cult of Scientology is founded on occultism.

At the top of the Desteni recommended reading list, which has mysteriously been removed from public view, was Baird T Spalding's 'Life and Teachings of the Masters of the Far East'. In Poolman’s article, The History and Purpose of Channeling he references Spalding’s work as if it were factual, when it has been proven to be fictional.

New Age religion and occultism follow the Doctrine of Correspondences of the ancient Hermetic philosophers as exemplified by the saying, 'As above, so below' ('as within, so without') which Poolman is very fond of reciting (e.g.: As Above, So Below - That which is Immortal in Heaven, Shall be Immortal on Earth). The Doctrine of Correspondences is also the defining principle of homoeopathy where it is called the Doctrine of Signatures. In The Future of Homeopathy in an Equal Money System Poolman stupidly says that homoeopathy will in the future become the primary medicinal health support world-wide.

Historically, occultism is the progenitor of the contemporary consumer marketing phenomenon that is New Age religion. New Age religion does include some insights about the human condition and some intriguing imaginative concepts but is almost entirely over-run by plagiarists, frauds, self-appointed visionaries and gurus, charlatans, fake psychics and mediums, philosophical fiction writers selling bogus money-making books and courses on 'self-mastery' or 'self-realisation'.

The philosophy of occultism that underpins New Age religion presents fabulous tales, fantastic cosmologies and seemingly wondrous philosophical and psychological theories and symbols. It adopts and adapts religious and scientific terminologies but is 'heretical' or subversive in relation to religion and always pseudo-scientific. Occultism is generally regarded as a discredited, superstitious and archaic philosophy but continues to evolve in a variety of ever-changing guises. Politically, occultism very often presents its mythologies and practices as a blueprint for a future paradisical Utopian society, hence the term, 'new age'. This takes shape in Desteni in the form of their 'equal' money system cult scam.


Spam, Scams & Commercially Deceptive Content

Destonians have constructed endless promo videos and spam blogs in which they repeat vacuous slogans about 'equal money' being a 'system' that will transform human behaviour and bring about 'heaven on earth' when enough people 'join Desteni', become 'self-realised' or 'birthed as the physical' (as opposed to 'enlightened') and eventually form an 'Equal Life Party'. All of it is purely in order to solicit donations and advertise and enroll recruits into sleazy capitalist ventures such as the Desteni I Process courses in so-called 'self-mastery' and the sale of the Desteni-branded 'self-perfection' merchandise.

Last year, YouTube terminated the BernardPoolman, DesteniProductions and other Desteni-run channels because of their violation of YouTube policies against spam, scams and commercially deceptive content, and complaints made against their videos on Nazi leader, Adolf Hitler. Immediately afterwards, Desteni attempted to migrate to the Vimeo video site but were promptly banned from there as well. The Desteni I Process is a Multi-Level Marketing scam, hence illegal on Vimeo.

Afterwards, Destonians claimed that they had been banned for talking about equality. It seems they have even managed to deceive themselves into imagining that it is somehow controversial or taboo to talk about equality. 

Articles on Desteni were published by South African newspaper, Sontag. An ex-member of the cult was reported as describing Bernard Poolman as into group sex, gambling and drugs (See: The Phantom of Okahandja and the CultEducation Forum).


Self-Forgiveness Via Nazi Mysticism

In a bid to avoid further risk of adverse publicity, the 'Desteni' group voluntarily removed from their website a so-called 'book' called 'I Am Hitler' by Bernard Poolman; a diatribe against all humankind (as is practically all Poolman's output) in which Adolf Hitler is portrayed as a supremely powerful demonic entity that Poolman is supposed to have communicated with in 'demon dimensions'.

The text can still be found at the Wayback Machine and the inane videos of Sunette Spies supposedly 'channeling' or 'portalling' Hitler can still be found on one or another of their numerous other YouTube channels that survived the culling (sometimes she uses an alternative fake name given to Hitler by Poolman: MyKey). 

Without providing any explanation, Destonians claimed they had again been misunderstood. It is rather more that they have misunderstood. Poolman's portrayal of the Nazi Führer as Christ-like interdimensional super-demon showing the way to 'self-forgiveness' is the same as the Esoteric Hitlerism AKA Nazi Mysticism or Occult Fascism as described by scholars such as recently deceased Nicholas Goodrich-Clarke.  

One of the main proponents of Esoteric Hitlerism, Miguel Serrano, described its central Drama as the apparition on this earth of the Person Adolf Hitler, the last Avatar, who came to produce this enormous storm, or catastrophe, in order to awaken all those who are asleep, and to commence the New Age, which will come after the Deluge.

That is exactly how Hitler is described by Poolman, as emerging newly redeemed from 'demon dimensions' by virtue of Poolman's instructions to usher in the new age of Equal Money System through self-forgiveness:

Hitler is presenting this experience as a help, as a gift. Unwrap yourself, forgive yourself. Ask Hitler questions. Ask Jesus, as God as yourself to guide you. Not the God of words and believes. Look at creation. Who are you in creation? Do you have any power but in yourself? Abuse will stop. In the years to come there will come, there will be a weeping and a gnashing of teeth. Hear Hitler. He has been here on earth. He has been a demon. He forgave himself. He saw and sees who you really are. (Bernard Poolman- Hitler and Forgiveness)

Donald Herman, a South African New Ager who visited the Desteni farm in 2007, described Poolman as a 'follower and disciple of Hitler' with a 'background of intense contact with Adolph Hitler' and this was discussed in another post here, Bernard Poolman, Satanic Cult Leader?

The Destonians quite seriously put forward the nonsensical idea that everyone thinks Hitler is the ultimate evil but no-one recognises that poverty and starvation are worse. They seem to imagine that Poolman has gifted human beings with a sublime allegory in which Hitler expresses 'self-forgiveness' and so now everyone should forgive themselves, 'join Desteni', talk in psychobabble and become a wannabe amateur con-artist and promote all the spam, scams, deceptive content and crappy merchandise concocted by the Desteni gang by making personal self-confessional self-forgiveness blogs. 

At least one Destonian now admits that participating in the Desteni 'process', contrary to previous claims, may not after all, help them get into politics in seven or twenty years' time. Although, she does add, it doesn't matter because 'the process' remains the same.

Occasionally, posts appear at the Equal Money Forum where non-Destonians ask reasonable questions, such as what would happen to those persons who do not comply with the global communo-fascist totalitarian police state that would be the Desteni 'Equal Money System' (EMS)?

In one of these posts called Connections, trees and documentaries a forum member called Ant writes:

I read your link on what will happen to the ones that resist and honestly I didn't see a clear concise answer. I understand that we can support those that resist to help them realise that equality is "best for all". However, as the old saying goes, "you can bring a horse to water but you can't make it drink." So what happens when the horse doesn't want to drink the equality water. If they do not accept and resist physically, do we use force to put them in rehabilitation support places? And if we have to use force how does that makes us any different from a dictatorship? I'm really curious to know how this would work because this is an issue that arises with many other well intentioned systems of governance out there.

The response supplied refers to a blog (discussed in The Desteni tools: Destonians) by one of the most fanatical Destonians there is, Lindsay Lee Craver, but it explains nothing about how EMS would function as a system, and nothing about how anyone resisting it would be rehabilitated.

Apart from suggesting that dissenters will receive 'psychological support' to help them towards 'self-forgiveness' so they can be rehabilitated into EMS', another 'solution' to the perceived problem of those who will not co-operate with the 'system' is their wish to revive the pseudo-science of eugenics and thereby exterminate and/or sterilise disabled people and 'certain races'.

Desteni is based on Bernard Poolman's own peculiarly nihilistic re-interpretations of New Age philosophies, occultism and conspiracy theories. Destonians claim they are opposed to everything the New Age stands for but all their ideas and practices are just re-worked versions of New Age / occult philosophies.

Poolman and his fans, the Destonians, make a poor show of passing it all off as relevant to political or social issues by trying to criticise 'god', 'spirituality', 'enlightenment' etc as used in the New Age or occultism but at the same time substituting or confusing such words or concepts with slogans based around the word, 'equality', and preaching that the only way to release the world from the grip of the conspiracy of a reptilian capitalist elite is 'self-forgiveness' and 'equal money' -- that is, money for Desteni.

Destonians imagine their hero, Bernard Poolman is 'self-realised' and not at all how he appears to others: an amateur con man who has deliberately set out to form his own cult.

Destonians have fallen for the outright lie that Desteni represents equality and have become internet scammers on Poolman's behalf. They pay to work for his company and by promoting EMS, attempt to lure in more suckers to buy Desteni products, many of which are recordings of Sunette Spies pretending to be an 'interdimensional portal', which is the Desteni version of a New Age channeller. They take up the practice of 'self-forgiveness' and promote it and EMS as the key to 'heaven on earth'.

Techniques for self-forgiveness and forgiveness are abundant throughout New Age self-help literature. They appear in the form of sayings such as 'I, (name), forgive myself for... '. 

Desteni recommend ‘writing yourself to freedom’ which means typing out endless affirmations beginning with, 'I forgive myself for accepting and allowing myself to…'. 

Desteni material centering on this practice is a perverse re-interpretation of forgiveness or self-forgiveness as described in mass-market paperbacks by, for example, the queen of New Age self-help pop psychology, Louise Hay, which were on the Desteni recommended reading list, which has been removed from public view, as well as the 1975 so-called 'channelled' work, A Course in Miracles, and 'Conversations with God' by Neale Donald Walsch, both of which Bernard Poolman has also commented on in some detail and has admitted he was at one time immersed in.

While 'self-forgiveness' in New Age religion is supposed to be towards healing, well-being or 'self-development', and would most often be a private matter, in Desteni those who practice 'self-forgiveness' are given the illusion of self-realisation (another Eastern mystical and New Age religious concept) through writing all about themselves in detail and sharing the information with buddies in the 'Destonians' network and in public on the Internet. 

The practice functions by inducing feelings of guilt as regards starvation or poverty in order to convince people they should give money to Desteni who claim they can solve poverty and starvation. Destonians have been told by Poolman that 'self-forgiveness' will 'delete the mind' and therefore somehow help bring about 'equality for all'. It seems they imagine that when they criticise themselves and reveal their perceived faults or subjective or social experiences or thoughts in public it is 'best for all' humankind and will change the world forever.

This enables the Desteni core group to ensure that recruits identify themselves with the Desteni brand name and endorse and promote it using their own intimate, personal information as testimony. The 'buddy system' enables them to monitor each other, and helps the core group to screen potential visitors to their farm, as well as to find out exactly what makes any of them tick and what makes them useful or not within the group dynamic.

In terms of cult behaviour, 'self-forgiveness' as used by Desteni is a form of confession. This is described in Robert Jay Lifton's Eight Criteria of Thought Reform as:

Sins, as defined by the group, are to be confessed either to a personal monitor or publicly to the group. There is no confidentiality; members' 'sins,' 'attitudes,' and 'faults' are discussed and exploited by the leaders.

Almost all sects, cults or new religious movements utilise forms of confession as modes of control, and it is common knowledge that many of them also operate front organisations and exploit loopholes for cash by setting up 'non-profit' companies.

Equal Money Journey to LIES

The Desteni Equal Money System Website was re-launched on April 14^th this year. One of its main functions is to register 'votes' for Desteni Equal Money 'policies'. At the time of writing, end of July, the most votes for a given policy is only 435.

There are around 100-150 people actively involved in promoting the Desteni Equal Money System. One might expect that 100-150 people, all of whom are constantly blogging and v-logging, could in three months gain the interest of a lot more than 400 or so others?  

But, no. The Desteni Equal Money System is a sham and the Destonians know it better than anyone else. That's why these days they are far more interested in detracting from it with their 'Journey to Life', where they confabulate blogs made up of endless paragraphs beginning with 'I forgive myself for allowing and accepting...' etc., liberally peppered with links to Desteni products for sale at eqafe.com.  

Their 'Journey to Life' is of course dictated by their guru, Bernard (Creation) Poolman, the main man in Desteni, whose Creation's Journey to Life blog contains such gems of gobbledegook as:

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to not realize that Liefe on Earth is One BIG LIE Built through Smaller Lies that are accepted and allowed so that the Big Lie seems too Big to Ever challenge, instead of Looking at the Small Lies and see How these Small Lies Built the Character of the Big Lie as Human Nature that is too Weak and Sinful to Ever Change.

In another post he writes:

I commit myself to SHOW that it is Possible to understand in Actual detail Exactly How All of Creation Functions and thus to Be the One that Determines How Life on Earth will be Lived. 

The Destonians' blogs are also inspired by blogs of Poolman's two main cohorts, Sunette (Heaven) Spies and Esteni (Earth) De Wet. 

As for the claim made on the Equal Money website that

The Equal Money System (EMS)' ...'project is managed and directed under the auspices of the Equal Life Foundation, a Non-Profit Organization, constituted under South African Law, duly audited as per legal requirements

this post at the Cult Education Forum suggests that the Desteni Equal Life Foundation may quite possibly be operating illegally:

A Non-Profit Company and a Non-Profit Organization are two different things. Equal Life Foundation is not a "Non-Profit Organization". It is in fact registered as a Non-Profit Company. This is confirmed by a search at http://www.cipc.co.za 

At http://www.cipc.co.za/Companies.aspx a Non-profit Company (NPC) is defined as:

Income of the Equal Life Foundation is distributed to its incorporators, members, directors or officers because Eqafe products are sold via an Affiliate Program where profits from sales are distributed amongst representatives of the Equal Life Foundation; that is the Destonians.

At the equallife.org 'About' page, 'The main object for which the' Equal Life Foundation 'Company is formed' is described as in order:

Psychology 

Food Production and Management 

Environmental Studies 

Educational Curriculum Software Development 

Equal Economic Remodelling 

Global Warming Solutions 

Group Behaviour 

And other areas related to the promotion and establishment of equal rights on a global scale.

All of which refers to Desteni profit-making projects such as the Desteni I Process, which is a Multi-Level Marketing Scheme (so-called Leadership Skills Development and Psychology), sale of working holidays at the Desteni Ranch (Food Production and Management and Environmental Studies), and the sale of Techno-Tutor software (Educational Curriculum Software Development @ €2,490 a shot) and Journey to Life blogging and v-logging which is to promote Desteni on the Internet under the pretense of being about global 'equal Economic Remodelling' and 'Equal Rights'.

The Equal Life Foundation does not appear in any way to be a Non-Profit Organisation or Company. It seems to be in order to make money for and distribute income amongst 'Destonians', those persons who finance and support the core Desteni group, that is Bernard (Creation) Poolman, Sunette (Heaven) Spies and Esteni (Earth) De Wet.

If any Destonians can prove that Equal Life Foundation is in fact a Non-Profit-making company or organization and does NOT distribute income amongst its 'incorporators, members, directors, officers or persons related to any of them', they are welcome, and if so the above statements will be retracted and this post deleted.

According to Desteni, 'equality' means no diversity, no tolerance, no free speech, no belief, no emotions, feelings or thoughts. It also involves becoming at one with inanimate objects. Under the heading, Equality and Oneness at wiki.destonians.com, Destonians recommend that the reader should watch videos of Sunette Spies being a camera lens, a pillow, a panty liner, a gas pump etc in order to gain a

perspective in understanding that that which exist, even the very keyboard you type upon – is no different to you, and thus it is to establish oneness and equality within and as all that exist within and as you as ‘who you are’ here in every moment of breath

Destonian, Joe Kou has not missed this essential part of the teachings of Destonianism. At his 'Bringing Forth World Equality' blog, Kou asks Are Rocks Life? Are Rocks as Important as Humans?...

If we actually care that much about surviving, then we need to get busy considering what actually is keeping us alive here right now. Which is this planet and nature. Without these functioning properly and being utilized effectively, the human cannot exist. Thus the human is no better than the animals, nature, even rocks. Have a look around and see if there is any concrete nearby, there is probably some in your house somewhere, or a building nearby. What’s concrete made of? Crushed rocks. It’s used in many homes as an effective building material for humans to live in. The home I live in now is constructed mostly from concrete. And the very ground we walk on has rock as in its structure. It’s used within roads to transport goods and materials that we utilize. Some animals even require to eat small rocks to aid with their digestion, like chickens, and those animals play an important part in our food chain.

While they are busy considering themselves as equal in status to inanimate objects, some persons utilising the Desteni material also seem to be under the impression that Desteni is the only group of people in the history of the world ever to have considered equality itself. They seem to be of the view that no group except Desteni discusses the flaws of the prevailing economic system. At his blog, 'Equality can be a reality - Socio-economic perspective on practical equality available through an Equal Money System', Larys Kaziukonis writes in 2012: Flaws in the design of our economic system - unemployment:

This might be just a first part of a series of blogs about the flaws in the very design of the economic system (we’ll see about that in the future). I find it relevant to write about it, because I notice that flaws that are in the very design of the system, are not tackled, challenged, discussed, and because of that they are not being properly understood or considered. Those things seems to be perceived and accepted as ‘beyond’ change, and seems to be forgotten, even though they are present and influence our lives everyday, constantly.

If indeed Destonians are tackling the issues of equality or inequality, then one might expect them to be reading the latest books on the subject and discussing them in earnest. However, at the Introduction to Desteni forum, under the heading of Music, Documentaries, Books for Equality there are no discussions about books, not even their own.

At their Equal Money System forum under Book Reviews & Recommended Reading there is some cut and pasted information about a very few books, but no discussion. There is a Recommended Reading List but again, no discussion about its contents.

Thousands of new books that are in favour of equality are being published all the time. It would seem reasonable that Desteni might try to forge alliances with the people writing them, but they don't.

Destonians say that challenging inequality or capitalism by taking part in any protest, charity or activism is useless. Instead they want people to flood the Internet with blogs and videos denouncing capitalism and promoting Desteni, which is a for-profit capitalist business. Even though they say that that protesting on the streets against capitalism achieves nothing, they appear to be of the view that protesting against capitalism on the Internet does achieve something.

As everyone knows, there are numerous political parties, individuals and groups that campaign for equal rights, and represent equality as a principle. The only such organisation Desteni appears to support is the Basic Income Grant Coalition, even though that campaign involves activism, to which they are opposed, and as far as we can tell, none of them are involved in it.

Destonians suggest that the only possible way forward for equality is by supporting their political party, 'Equal Life Party', but 'Equal Life Party' does not actually exist and there is no evidence that they are forming any such political party. They are more preoccupied with publishing affirmations or confessions in the form of sentences beginning, 'I forgive myself for accepting and allowing myself to...' -- a practice they call 'self-forgiveness'. This is what they see as a key factor in bringing about world equality.

In one of his speeches, How Does Self-Forgiveness Work, and How Do I Know When My Self-Forgiveness Is Effective? Desteni founding member, Bernard Poolman says:

If you are focusing your attention on helping humans, you are missing the point. The point is to establish a system of equality that place the humans in the point where they will not abuse the plants and the animals, which is equal money. Equal money is not there to help the human. The human is in essence really something that cannot be trusted and must be eradicated at all costs.

Destonians' version of equality involves regarding other human beings as brainwashed, demon-possessed organic robots that need to use 'tools' of 'self-purification' and 'self-forgiveness'.

Desteni does not, as might be imagined, represent a humanitarian philosophy, and although their references to 'equality' could suggest that they have an egalitarian social and political message, in the fields of social justice, economics, politics, political philosophy or human rights the Desteni version of 'equality' would not ever be taken seriously. Their general ideas as communicated in, for example, the video quoted above or others such as Desteni Secrets Revealed would to most people not make any rational sense. More specifically, their ideas about equality either bear no relation to it or they contradict the meaning and use of the word as it pertains to social issues or political philosophy.

Their 'equal money system' new age of 'equality and oneness' is inspired by channellings, or as they prefer to call them, 'interdimensional portal messages'. Desteni are more akin to similar such groups, like the Imzaia Movement or Share International than to any social or political movement for equality. However, unlike these groups, Desteni have an extremely limited and obscure way of promoting their ideas, where they do not hold public meetings, they confine their activities to the Internet and invite only a few select members to their farm.

Being a Destonian and supporting 'equal money system' is about regarding Desteni as the only worthwhile group on the planet and modifying personal behaviour by attending to theories and practices to do with reptilians, being a portal, 'heaven on earth', Atlanteans, Destonians having sex with one another, channeling, astral projection, interdimensional contact with dead people, 'self-forgiveness', demon possession, 'mind consciousness systems', deprogramming oneself from Annunaki mind control, etc. As well as becoming 'equal' to inert physical objects.

There is of course a case for saying that everyone on the planet has a basic human right to equality, to food, clothing, shelter and a guaranteed income, but the Desteni equal money system is not it.

Hello there Destonians. How is the self-writing and breathing exercises going? Has Big Brother Poolman spouted out any new helpful nonsense? How is the Eqafe business going? It must be hard bearing the burden of working against capitalism while allowing it on the inside. But wait!? Eqafe has an affiliate program you say which helps support fellow Destonians? You can pick a Destonian to receive a percentage of the sales money before the rest goes into the black hole of Calcutta? Wow! That's great. I'll check it out.

Oh wait ...no! It still sucks. So I went to Eqafe from the Desteni site. I was curious so I clicked on one of the products as if I was actually going to buy it. After clicking on the "Add to cart" button, I was presented with a new page of a bunch of Destonians to click on. It seems if the Destonian had bought the product before he or she would appear on the list and could potentially benefit from the sale. However, after doing this several times, I began to notice certain people kept appearing again and again. Interestingly, the overall majority of the people who keep appearing on this special bubble head list all live at the Desteni Farm. Did all of these people actually purchase the product in order to get it in their inventories too? Hmmm ...I'm beginning to smell a rat.

So then, I actually decided to do a random sampling to see how often these people kept popping up. Using a random method I pulled 30 samples which is about 10% of the 300 products listed (at the time of this writing). Out of the 17 individuals who appeared again and again, 12 (70%) of them live at the Desteni Farm. And I'm sure that it's just a coincidence that Big Brother Poolman just happens to live at the farm too. Also, he doesn't seem to take any interest in what the other Destonians do. Meh ...why should he? He's got a business to run and worrying about flakes is not his priority. It should also be noted that Matti Freeman and Darryl W Thomas don't live at the farm but are closely tied to it. Surprisingly Darryl is the only inner circle member who doesn't seem to have a monopoly on the Eqafe products. I guess he was too busy playing word salad or bitching about something to stock up.

So once again, Desteni's leadership demonstrates how they are one and equal in action. Wouldn't it actually be equal if all members who were affiliates benefited equally? Why is that Desteni demands the world support them unconditionally but they don't even do it amongst their own ranks? Why do the members continue to excuse this unequal behavior?

I guess words are just more powerful than actions in Desteni. But it has been this way for a while hasn't it? And I suppose if it has been justified a thousand times already, I guess ignoring it is the right thing to do. Because I'm sure Poolman and company are going to properly do research into equality and stuff with no intentions of taking the money and running when the time is right. I sure am glad Desteni's rank and file members have such a thoughtful, caring, and wonderful Big Brother. They'll never have to feel like a sucker being taken for a ride.
