Awful Link of the Day: Desteni

Hello, Internet Traveler. I hope you find yourself well today. Do not fear our horned guardian. Welcome to Desteni, the Web site for finding enlightenment. Please ignore the credit card logos in the corner of your screen. We reject the notion of money as it is in the world today. Instead, we hope to move toward a system of equality, in which all people can find enlightenment through our system. Do not be afraid, but what you are about to hear will change your life for all eternity (oh, yeah, life is eternal, incidentally). I know you think we are crazy. I know you think you have seen videos of a similar nature on YouTube. I can assure you, dear friend, we are something you have never seen before.

It's so funny and true! I met a Desteni follower several years ago who started randomly emailing long winded letters about how I could just take a breath through the chronic pain I was going through due to an accident. It was ridiculous! I'd like to see what they do when they get seriously physically ill and their special powers don't work. These guys are completely delusional. What a waste of life, time, and energy for them.

That guy who used to write me has since quit since he saw I wasn't really taking his recommendation. That was several years ago when he said he was going to do something great with his life...still no progress. He is living off his government's social welfare scheme, is jobless, and still leaching off his parents. In a couple of years he'll be a 30 something year old with nothing to show... I have yet to see a successful member of this cult.

I'd like to see fb alerted to their scam. I've been letting fb know about them by reporting fan pages of these retards as scams. I figure if enough people complain fb will investigate and quickly see it for what it is- especially since they all seem to post the same shit (join the i-process). I think friends and family members of destibots can also report. My friend got his account taken down b/c enough people were tired if the desteni crap he would put on his wall. You can report it without them knowing too. Eventually he came back but now he is more careful about how he spreads his message. Most people call him out on his bs though...and funnily none of his destibots come to the rescue. He simply deletes the messages- as usual in this circle. They can't stand questioning...but you know some of it seeps in :D

The picture that you refer to as the horned guardian is simply a compilation of all sorts of animals put into one picture, ever heard of art?

Desteni isn't the place for enlightenment it is the place for self realization.

Desteni does not reject the notion of money, where did you here this? we have a please donate for a reason, we say clearly we need support with money as money is what rules the world currently and for us to change it we need money.you assume a lot and Improvise on all your assumptions as if it is true while you made it up completely and post it as real!! you are fake and the scam running around.

and we are something you have never seen/heard before - why else would you dedicate your life to us to debunk us, LOL.
