TechnoTutor and Neothink® Tools for Money, Power and Romantic Love

[Update Aug 2017: The Desteni group appears to have cut ties with the US-based TechnoTutor company, therefore it is likely to have also cut any ties with Neothink. The following article serves as a record of events.]

Members of the Desteni / Equal Life Foundation channelling sect are venturing beyond the confines of the Desteni Universe. 

They are making significant affiliations with individuals whose background is with the Sovereign Citizen Movement.

And as the Destonians branch out further they are associating with other ideologies and organisations, specifically to do with the Destonian-run business, TechnoTutor LLC.

Destonian and TechnoTutor LLC co-founder, Cameron Cope, said recently in a YouTube video that 'the tools or the realization that they are a creator' are being given to people through TechnoTutor, Desteni, GIN and Neothink.

The Global Information Network (GIN) is a Multi-Level Marketing scam started by fraudster and convicted felon, Kevin Trudeau. 

Several Destonians already market the TechnoTutor 'business opportunity' through GIN, and Cope has recommended that they all join the scam to help sell the Desteni I Process. 

But what is Neothink?

Neothink purports to be inspired by Ayn Rand's Objectivism (although Objectivists might object) and is said to be 'The Most Effective Self-Improvement Program For Individuals In the History of Mankind'.

Disshevelled playboy, Mr. Mark Hamilton, is mentioned throughout material published by the organisation as the 'genius' behind Neothink and a paragon of 'civilization'.

The Neothink Society offers 'tools' for 'perfect health', 'millionaire wealth', 'superior intelligence', the 'hottest romantic love techniques since the golden age of Greece' and biological immortality. 

It promises all this through its secret society of secret wisdom, the members of which it claims are 'the rich, the famous, the powerful', and include the 'crème de la crème of society, famous sports and movie stars, musicians, billionaires, businessmen, intellectuals and scientists'.

Neothink has appeared under other names, such as Nouveau Tech, Novatech or usually, Neo-Tech®, and since the 1980s has used junk mail to persuade desperate or gullible people to buy books at inflated prices. 

In May 2000, Neo-Tech was the subject of an Advertising Standards Authority ruling in the UK, as it was unable to provide proof of its ludicrous claims.

Neo-Tech was started by Hamilton's father, Frank R. Wallace who died in 2006. 

According to one source, when Wallace was in prison for federal tax crimes in the 1990s he met TV infomercial scammer, Kevin Trudeau, who was in for credit card fraud.

Neothink is, like Trudeau's GIN, another cheesy Multi-Level Marketing scheme. GIN is to a large extent modelled on Neothink, and Hamilton has apparently made more money out of GIN than anyone else.

As Destonians already market TechnoTutor via GIN, and there are shared interests between GIN and Neothink, it follows that TechnoTutor should also be marketed via the Neothink Society. 

Destonian and TechnoTutor LLC co-founder, Avery Williams, has supported both GIN and Neothink for years. 

At a Neothink site, another Destonian suggested that if you buy TechnoTutor for your child it will develop their vocabulary and therefore enable them to earn lots of money for your family, and that TechnoTutor is in line with the 'C of the U', which means 'Civilization of the Universe' or Neothink.

Like the Desteni Equal Life Foundation's fake political 'proposal', the Living Income Guaranteed, which is a front for the sale of Desteni products and courses, Neothinkers have their own political gimmick: the 'libertarian' Twelve Visions Party, which is a front for Neothink. 

Its slogan is, 'Make All the People Rich Including the Poor!'.

And like Desteni, Neothinkers sing horrible rap songs about how they will solve the world's problems and bring happiness, peace and prosperity to all.

The TechnoTutor 'Vocabulary Development Technology' business is owned, managed and marketed almost exclusively by members of Desteni. 

Yet Desteni claims that it 'does not own any part of TechnoTutor'.

While Desteni has officially endorsed TechnoTutor none of the TechnoTutor websites or salespersons ever mention that the origins and development of the 'educational software' company are inextricably linked to Desteni, and in turn the 'non-profit' behind it, the Equal Life Foundation.

Back in 2007, the group's founder, Bernard Poolman, introduced his ideas about 'Living Words' or 'redefining words' for 'self-forgiveness' with the help of 'educational software'. 

Poolman's ideas about vocabulary and 'living words' were later expanded upon in a series of blog posts entitled, Redefining Words, by his co-founder in Desteni, Esteni De Wet. Such ideas are integral to the Desteni I Process and references to 'vocabulary' and 'living words' can be found throughout material produced by Destonians.  

Prior to the launch of Desteni in 2007, De Wet ran an 'educational software' business with Poolman named PowerEducation by MindTechnology. 

A review in 2004 by a student whose masters project was 'to find means for deploying networks and computers in schools in South Africa' stated that the PowerEducation website was full of 'lots of rubbish about how their packages will improve your life... in fact they reckon that people who are illiterate usually land up killing themselves due to depression and they are making products that will prevent this'.

It stated that the PowerEducation sales pitch contained 'so much emotive speech and "propaganda" that you want to vomit', and that the software was way overpriced.

This year's VICE magazine article, Meet the Struggling South African Cult That Tried to Kill Demon Hitler, quoted an ex-PowerEducation employee who said the software was sold to parents who were 'manipulated' into believing it was worth R12,000 [$1,030] when it was only worth R400 [$35]. 

Poolman's 2005 PowerEducation website stated: 'building effective information processing skills is like building a brick wall'.

Circa 2007-09, Poolman made his 'educational software' available through desteni.co.za under the name, 'Desteni Vocabulary Builder' or 'Purifier'. 

As listed under 'Other Cults' on a Scientology wiki and numerous other sites, the original desteni.co.za website was registered to Esteni at powereducation.co.za.

By 2010, the 'Desteni Vocabulary Builder' was no longer provided via desteni.co.za, but a member of the group, Cameron Cope of Texas, began selling 'educational software' through another company called Desteni Education.

Cope posted several times at the Cult Education Forum in an attempt to deflect criticism that suggested he was using the sale of the software to recruit children and parents into the cult of Desteni.

In one of his posts, he stated that he originally wanted to call the company, 'Techno Tutor', but the name at the time was unavailable.

The sales pitch for Desteni Education was worded in almost exactly the same way as Poolman's PowerEducation and was about 'building a brick wall'. 

In 2010, Ferdi Poolman of South Africa alleged that his brother, Bernard, had stolen the 'reading and language' programme from his educational software company, Readers are Leaders. 

After that, Cope began using different company names, including PerfectMind Tutoring, AConduitMarketing and Techno Tutor. In 2013, the same year Bernard Poolman died, TechnoTutor LLC was formed by Cope and other Destonians.

Esteni De Wet is currently a UK director of TechnoTutor. 

VICE magazine also reported that De Wet's parents were involved in the early days of Desteni, which were said to have been fuelled by the drug, Ecstasy. 

Frans De Wet was listed as a member of PowerEducation's Club 25 in 2005, and Francois De Wet is currently a TechnoTutor South Africa director. 

Bernard Poolman's daughter owns technotutor.co.za as well as desteni.org. 

In a recent interview with the Student Operated Press, Cope delivered a sales pitch for TechnoTutor in which he repeated Poolman's hokey metaphor about 'building a brick wall'.

VICE magazine reported this year that Cope was initially open to an interview, but after he was asked about the connection between PowerEducation and TechnoTutor, gave no reply.

The TechnoTutor websites do not state its price or the cost of distribution rights.

There is no record of tests or reviews of TechnoTutor by any independent experts, and there has been no peer-reviewed study of it published in any educational technology journal.

An ex-customer of the product described it as 'way overpriced overhyped and subpar', set up a webpage to warn people, posted at the Cult Education Forum, and said he was offered a refund if he removed his posts, but he didn't. 

A Destonian recently asked for donations to help 'solve the education crisis' and wrote about joining the TechnoTutor team at GoFundMe: 'To be a part of this team and fulfill my vision, I am asked for a significant investment of $60,000'. Yet she failed to provide a budget and raised only $620.

In 2012 TechnoTutor was reportedly sold at €2,490 [$3,123]. At the Cult Education Forum in 2014 it was said that distribution rights were being sold at $24,000. 

There are testimonials for TechnoTutor from people who are almost all known members of Desteni, and one from Dr. Roland Estrabillo, a dentist who said he used TechnoTutor to pass a certification exam. 

He was found guilty in 2011 by The Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario of 'disgraceful, dishonourable, and unethical conduct including charging excessive fees and providing unnecessary dental services'. 

Estrabillo, along with Cope and several other Destonian TechnoTutor salespersons, is a member of the Global Information Network, a Multi-Level Marketing scam started by fraudster and convicted criminal, Kevin Trudeau.

Back in October 2013, a journalist from Vice magazine, River Donaghey, made a request to visit the Desteni farm but was turned down. (See Desteni 'Going Down the Drain'). He later wrote an extensive article about the group anyway and it was published by Vice on August 4th this year.

It includes a revealing interview with the ex-personal assistant of Desteni founder, Bernard Poolman, as well as some marvellous illustrations.

The article highlights the fact that the Desteni group (AKA the Equal Life Foundation) runs on blind belief in the ridiculous fantasies of Poolman and Sunette Spies' 'batshit-insane demon-channeling'.

It re-confirms that the TechnoTutor software currently sold by Destonians out of Texas and elsewhere is most likely an updated version of Poolman's earlier 'educational software', PowerEducation, which involved a scam to 'manipulate parents' into buying something that was 'worth 400 rand [$35] for 12,000 [$1,030].'

The article is also notable for pointing out the highly influential role of Poolman's girlfriend, Esteni de Wet, as well as the use of the drug, Ecstasy, in the founding of the cult.

TechnoTutor: A Front for Desteni?

In a recent post at the Muertos Blog, investigation and research on Desteni business venture, Eqafe, shows how it functions as affiliate marketing... Muertos writes:

The first of Desteni’s new ventures is a website called eqafe.com. This is an online “bookstore” where the Destonians are selling “Self-Perfection Books, Audio & Music.” The site looks like sort of a half-assed Amazon or Barnes & Noble, where you click on and see “book” covers featuring serious-looking faces of “authors” hawking their titles. The titles are things like Journey Into the Afterlife and The One System that Rules us All. There are also a lot of titles about reptilians. One of the first things I noticed about Desteni was that most of them believe in conspiracy theories involving reptilians, similar to (though not exactly like) the anti-Semitic cosmology promoted by British conspiracy loon David Icke.

However, once you begin to click on these titles, the Eqafe.com business model becomes more suspect. For instance, click on a title at random—let’s say, Reptilians—The Relationship Between Sex, Intelligence and Religion. First of all, no author is given for this work. A tiny little icon in the upper right corner tells you that this is not actually a book, but an MP3. The price? €9.99. At today’s exchange rate that’s $12.53. Seems a little pricey for an audio file, doesn’t it?

It gets worse. The summary page, which contains a lot of Desteni psychobabble, lists no fewer than 57 other titles in the “Reptilians” series! And they’re all €9.99. Thus, if you wanted to investigate the depth and breadth of the “Reptilians” series, all 58 of them, it would cost you €579, or about $726. That’s right—over $700 for a bunch of MP3s about how imaginary reptilians have supposedly manipulated human history.

Information recently surfaced at the Cult Education Forum on another of the latest Desteni ventures called TechnoTutor. It's a software programme originally available at Desteni-Universe for free in 2008 and now sold by Cameron Cope and other Destonians affiliated with a company named Perfect Mind Technologies for €2,490. Where did I find this information on Techno Tutor? On this site, New Earth Publishing, a European website selling various things…including Techno Tutor. How much does this product cost? €2,490. At today’s exchange rate, that’s $3,123.

I want to stress that this is a circumstantial case that Techno Tutor may be a Desteni front, not a conclusive case. I could be wrong. If I am wrong, correct me. Let’s hear what Techno Tutor really is and really does, in the form of verifiable testimonials from parents—not affiliated in any way with Desteni—who purchased this product for $3100+ and feel satisfied that it directly improved their child’s school performance. I would also like to hear about whether Techno Tutor is in fact the “Vocabulary Builder” or “Vocabulary Purifier” allegedly invented by Ferdi Poolman, and if his issues regarding ownership and representation of the software have been resolved to his satisfaction. I believe, given the issues that have been raised about Desteni and its leader Bernard Poolman, it’s entirely justifiable to ask reasonable questions about the relationship of this Techno Tutor program to Desteni and why high-commitment Desteni cult members are the driving forces behind its marketing.

It seems that cameronvcope is deliberately lying. The page that was linked to was not written by Christians or theists and this blog is not run by Christians or anyone belonging to any religious or spiritual group. We don't give a shit about what Desteni say about Jesus.

Just to make it clear: the editors of this blog have no religious beliefs whatsoever. The blog began simply as a response to the woo woo occultic sub-New Age crapola of Desteni.

The kind of ideas that inform Desteni are far more widespread and have more influence than just that one group, but Desteni serves as an extreme example.

Material from various different sources is published or linked at this blog and some of it may or may not be from theists, but anyone can see for themselves that nothing published here critiques Desteni on the basis of religious beliefs. Whether anyone is Christian or a theist of any kind or agnostic or atheist is of very little relevance to the fact that it is quite obvious that Desteni is an absurd cult and money-making scam.

Anti-Human Desteni Hate Machine

Months after certain videos made by critics of Desteni have been released, the Desteni group have started to comment on them. In their typical group-think, Borg-like manner, Desteni members mostly ‘respond’ to selected videos of their critics all at the same time via so-called ‘anti hate’ channels. Each chooses the same videos to ‘respond’ to and gives their own videos the same titles. It happens automatically, like a machine. 

However, these ‘anti hate’ videos are not ‘responses’ in the accepted YouTube sense because they are not linked as responses, and those critics whose videos are reviewed are already blocked, so none of the critics can respond back directly. 

Their critics' comments are dismissed, ignored or misrepresented, and the usual Desteni dogma is trotted out by rote, as we have heard many times before.

Cathy Krafft follows up her original antihate video on an 0rdo Templi Aurora video, Desteni Preacher of Hate, Bernard Poolman -part 1 with another on her own channel called What I have to say about the Beast of Desteni Universe - EXPOSED.

She assumes that one person made Desteni Preacher of Hate, Bernard Poolman - part 1 and four minutes into her video, Cathy Krafft recommends that he or she should commit suicide. Then she retracts her statement. 

‘Bernard Poolman is the most unselfish individual walking the face of this earth’, says Cathy. She adds several comments below her video containing quotes from the Beast of Desteni Universe himself, as if he were an authority on something or other. 

We received an email from YouTube stating that YouTube received a privacy complaint from an individual regarding content of the second part of Desteni Preacher of Hate, Bernard Poolman and were given 48 hours to remove the video, which we have not done.

The information reported as violating privacy at 0_36-0_40 was highlighted as a clip by the antidestenimovement channel.

The mere mention of Cameron Cope’s name is supposedly ‘privacy violation’. Nothing else. Cameron Cope runs a YouTube channel under the name, cameronvcope. He has publicly made his name known for some years and has his own blog and profile page on the Desteni website. He has publicly discussed his business, Desteni Education, at the Cult Education Forum with the user name, Cameron Cope.

Cameron Cope, Cathy Krafft and their pals would prefer it if Desteni critics would just disappear off the face of the earth. They really hate it when we point out that their leader is a con-man. 

It is a simple fact that the majority of Bernard Poolman's speeches are attacks on various kinds of people, most often without any justification other than the idea that money is not ‘equal’ and people generally are not members of Desteni. He never makes any coherent criticisms, he just wallows in hostility. He is very fond of calling all kinds of people and things ‘evil’. He's always making a big deal of what he calls ‘equality’ but says to his followers, ‘You are not equal to me, there is no such thing’ (see: Equality on this World).

He appears to have an extreme dislike of other people's capacity to think for and express themselves. Poolman's basic position is that he regards human beings as ‘trapped by consciousness’ and ‘evil’ by ‘design’. He regards individuality as evil. As he says in Cold blooded nature of individualism, 'individuality deserves not to exist and must be rooted out forevermore'. 

To Bernard Poolman, other human beings are demonic entities. All people’s thoughts, feelings or emotions, and even consciousness itself must be removed altogether, as must ‘the mind’. He actively encourages his followers to believe that everyone else is evil and hateful and only he and his Desteni organisation can save them. He describes ‘the human’ as 'in essence really something that cannot be trusted and must be eradicated at all costs’.  

In his own response to the Desteni Preacher of Hate videos, released 11 Nov 2010, months before the Desteni ‘anti hate’ campaign, whilst feigning, as usual, Christian forgiveness, Poolman admitted that he does ‘do hate speech’ because he speaks ‘what people hate to hear’ and of course his opponents are ‘evil incarnate’ (see: Preaching Hate Speech).

Poolman's network of consumerist drones loyal to the Desteni brand serves as a propaganda machine to convey his lies, delusions and hatred, and to instil that hatred in others. They're a gaggle of yes-people all repeating the same information. They communicate in catch phrases and jeer each other on with exclamations of ‘cool!’. When people have to say ‘cool’ so often, you know there’s nothing ‘cool’ whatsoever going on.

In supporting Poolman and echoing his views, the Desteni group enter a twilight world of inter-passive solipsism directed at others in the form of preaching what's ‘best for all’. Apparently, to bring about world equality, everyone must destroy themselves.

Desteni are ‘anti’ everything. Preoccupied with their own neuroses, they demonise others, their former friends and family, and everything that is not Desteni. It's all due to Poolman's influence, his cynical ploy to cash in on people's fears of widespread economic instability, hopes for a more just world and need to connect with others. They want to believe that they will vote for a Desteni monetary system and it will save them from ‘evil’. They take it on faith that conforming to Desteni is the inevitable ‘future of the world’, when it's just an internet scam designed to support Poolman's sordid little business. 

The Desteni Big Lie

Just as Desteni dictator and Adolf Hitler fan, Bernard Poolman must be aware of the story of Hitler and the Spear of Destiny, he must also be familiar with Adolf’s concept of the Big Lie. 

Desteni is founded on one fundamental Big Lie.

When the group first appeared on the web in 2007, it was mainly represented through the videos of Sunette Spies. She was known by a fake name: ‘Winged’. Poolman’s fake name at the time was ‘Eagle’. An eagle with wings outspread is a symbol of Germany, as it was in the time of the Nazis.

The Desteni website is hosted by the South African branch of the German company, Hetzner. Desteni's promotion of Hitler may be against Hetzner's acceptable use policies. In Germany there are laws against such things as promoting Hitler and anti-Semitism.

Sunette Spies ‘channelled’, or in Destenispeak, ‘portalled’ animals, demons, insects, qualities or ideas, mythological gods, fictional characters, inanimate objects, dead children, cult leaders, rock stars, philosophers, politicians, mystics, movie stars, psychics, occultists and Adolf Hitler.

This poor demonstration of skill in the performing arts was presented as if it were an ‘interdimensional’ revelation. Every piece of media to have emerged from the Desteni farm since then has been a development and extension of Poolman’s manipulation and exploitation of Sunette Spies, who is young enough to be his daughter. 

Poolman cynically contrived the ‘interdimensional portal’ as a publicity stunt, an outlandish and bizarre fake ‘truth’ in the hope that no-one would suspect that he or Spies would dared to have lied about it, and that as many people as possible would be stupid or naïve enough to believe it. Poolman makes it clear that he has no regard for the intelligence of people in general, certainly not for anyone who does not subscribe to his fantastical nonsense.

As it’s turned out, some people do believe it. Incredibly, there are others who don’t believe that the ‘portal’ is real but that her message of so-called ‘self-honesty’ is true in any case.

The ‘interdimensional portal’ is the Desteni Big Lie, concocted as it was to establish and promote Desteni, which is a cheap scam to advance Bernard Poolman’s Hitlerite ambitions to be a notorious cult leader and make as much money as he can into the bargain.

Decisions in the Desteni group are centralised by an elite core group, including members such as Marlen Vargas Del Razo, Esteni de Wet, Sunette Spies, Andrea Rossouw, Bella Bargilly, Darryl Thomas, Matti Freeman, Cameron Cope and Katie Conklin. 

Destonians denigrate non-Destonians, branding them as useless robots that don't deserve to live. Suspicion and hatred of everyone outside of Desteni is actively cultivated by Poolman in boring diatribes against all human beings’ thoughts and actions. It is as though anyone not belonging to the Desteni nation is in terms of Nazism the equivalent of a Jew.

Desteni has nothing to do with equal rights, equal opportunities or any authentic concept of equality at all, and nothing to do with liberty, justice or freedom. ‘Equality’ in Desteni is simply, inequality; outright exploitation and abuse of the individual and the group for the benefit of an elite.

There is the suppression of all criticism and a corrosive devaluing of autonomy. The first rule is: ‘no opinions’ except Bernard's. Outside of Desteni any other values are regarded as worthless. 

They have outright disdain for intellectual activity and no respect for the creativity of the imagination. 

In the ‘Equal Life Party’ system, religion and state are interdependent. 'Religion' meaning Desteni and the state being the Equal Life Party.

Much of all this would only be obvious to those who would take the time to look into it. In Desteni certain key ideas may not be apparent at a surface glance. They are not often openly talked about or admitted to by the Desteni acolytes. Instead they shift the focus towards building up the false image of Desteni as an activist movement for positive social change. 

But Bernard Poolman’s ‘Desteni’ is a pack of occult, fascist lies.

“… in the big lie there is always a certain force of credibility; because the broad masses of a nation are always more easily corrupted in the deeper strata of their emotional nature than consciously or voluntarily; and thus in the primitive simplicity of their minds they more readily fall victims to the big lie than the small lie, since they themselves often tell small lies in little matters but would be ashamed to resort to large-scale falsehoods. It would never come into their heads to fabricate colossal untruths, and they would not believe that others could have the impudence to distort the truth so infamously. Even though the facts which prove this to be so may be brought clearly to their minds, they will still doubt and waver and will continue to think that there may be some other explanation. For the grossly impudent lie always leaves traces behind it, even after it has been nailed down, a fact which is known to all expert liars in this world and to all who conspire together in the art of lying.”
